While we are waiting in Port Townsend for weather to clear and for our replacement radio to arrive, perhaps I should share some of the FAQs (frequently asked questions) about living and traveling on a sailboat. Many of you may have the same questions.
Well, That Didn’t Go According to Plans

The Voyage (finally!) Begins
Tomorrow afternoon we will water up, fuel up and head to Fairhaven (South Bellingham) to anchor and get a few hours sleep

Fall whispered in last night. After a day of blazing sun in cloudless skies we wake up to overcast. The air has that musty smell of dying leaves. A tendril of wind brings the damp smell of encroaching rain. Yellow leaves swirl in the air at the slightest movement.
It took us two months from re-launch in July to prepare for our second shake down trip. Not that everything is done
