It’s finally time. The netting is up, the tanks are topped up, shore encumbrances (read “truck”) are dealt with, provisioning is done, goodbyes have been said. What a wonderful couple of years we have had, despite the unending work. Thank you San Francisco for welcoming us in and making us feel at home. Now it’s time to find out what still doesn’t work! Can you say “jury-rig”?

Our plan is to sail directly for Ensenada which should take about 4-5 days, 6 if the dead wind comes in early. Along the way you can follow our process on the chart at right (or at the bottom for you phone and tablet folks). If it doesn’t update, don’t worry, it just means that something else I didn’t adequately test!
Many thanks to Ken and Sandra, Steve and Cathy, and all the Richmond Marina folks for making this possible.
We will be back in touch this weekend. Love you all.
